Why do the documents open on the manufacturer's site?
Because the original stays with the manufacturer. A copy hosted here would fall behind the day a certificate is revised, and a withdrawn version would end up in the project file. The link always reaches the current file. This page adds what the source lacks: the name of each document and what it holds.
Which document goes into the project file?
The declaration of performance, that is CE marking under EN 13163, is the document that accompanies the product. The data sheet for the size used goes next to it. Where the file also calls for test reports, every certificate is available in one archive.
Is the whole range Passive House certified?
No. The Passive House Institute certificate names VST 80×90. Every size is covered by a different document: test report no. 272/T2022 of September 2, 2022, issued by notified body no. 1434. The specification tables take their values from it. The ift Rosenheim report and the declaration of performance sit in the same list.
What language are the documents in?
English. The two installation guides are the exception, published in Ukrainian: the text needs translation, the photographs and drawings do not. Data sheets use standardised designations and units, so the tables read without English too.
Are the cross sections available in CAD format?
Yes, the cross sections of every profile are published in one DXF file. It opens in any CAD program and goes straight into the working drawing of the joint, without redrawing the outline.
