Description

VST 80×90 is a solution for mounting windows, doors and facades within the building's thermal insulation layer. It provides a 90 mm extension of the construction relative to the core of the building envelope. The optimal solution for most profile systems with an installation width of 70 mm or more.

Frequently asked questions

When is a pre-wall system needed?

When the window moves out of the masonry into the insulation layer. An ordinary support profile resolves the lower joint of a window that stays in the plane of the opening. A pre-wall system carries a frame set outside the wall, over the full height of the joint. Where the window sits is a design decision, not an installation one.

VST 80×90 or VST 80×140 — which one?

The joint height differs: 90 mm and 140 mm, at the same width of 80 mm. The manufacturer draws both in the technical solutions album and publishes a full system description. For a specific joint, with the height of the opening and the weight of the structure, ask for a check before ordering.

Is it Passive House certified?

The Passive House Institute certificate is issued for VST 80×90 as a component. VST 80×140 is not covered by it. Both carry the same declared material values, confirmed by the manufacturer's test report. The certificate opens from the document list, on the manufacturer's site.

Are there installation instructions for the system?

Yes. The manufacturer publishes recommendations for installing the pre-wall system and a step-by-step photographic guide. Both are in Ukrainian: the text needs translation, the photographs and drawings do not. They open from the documents page, next to the technical solutions album.
